Vacuum-pole systems do the same job from the ground using a carbon-fibre pole and an industrial wet/dry vacuum. Faster, safer, no marks on the building, and no working-at-height risk to the operator.

Late autumn — once the bulk of leaves have fallen — is the right time for most County Durham properties.
